Something about purchasing furniture has made this whole process so much more real to me. Perhaps it's because having furniture that isn't mis-matched hand-me-downs is a luxury that I could not afford without this new job. Or maybe it just seems more binding. A lease can be broken, but buying couches?
That's it, we're staying.
I love these couches. I'm not leaving them.
Aside from our furniture finding ventures, Mr. Cold Nole and I have leased a simple apartment with a beautiful view, and I had a chance to finally see where I would be working. The library is small but absolutely beautiful, and the people whom I met working there were so friendly and welcoming - I know now that this is the right choice. As much as I'll miss Tally and the people I have there, we've got a great opportunity here.
